Elida, Carmen, Elva, Rosalba and Alix, they are my aunts and the aunts of many people who come into their lives, looking for care and love.
It all happened during the hours when my mom, also raised by them, worked... these incredible women took care of us, loved us, raised us, fed us and watched us grow in their restaurant, while they cooked and managed their sister business.
Everything I saw growing up, what I learned from them, that is my greatest inheritance. I come from them, they come from the people and my people tell a story.
